Student Parking

Parking Information for 2025-2026

If you are wanting to purchase a KHS parking tag, available spots have sold out.  We are collecting names for a waitlist, and students will be notified when a space becomes available.  If you would like to sign up for the waitlist, please go to https://forms.gle/Qt8WHcuED453djfg6 and fill out the information.

Screenshots that need uploading into the Google Form:

  • A valid Driver’s License (NO LEARNER’S PERMITS ARE ALLOWED)
  • Current vehicle insurance/registration that is valid through September 1st.  If it expires before then, you need to get a new copy from your insurance company to upload.

Any student turning 16 after school begins, the Parking Registration Google Form will be open until we run out of parking spaces.  So, once you have a valid Driver’s License you can complete the online process.  If you have any questions about parking after school starts, come by the 10th/11th grade AP office for assistance.

Parking Update November 5, 2025

  • If you have not received a parking sticker, you are not allowed to park on school property.
    • We are sold out of parking spaces, but will open about 150 more spaces in January when E Hall and Overflow Parking Lots become available
    • If you are trying to get a parking spot, you need to complete the Parking Waitlist Form:  https://forms.gle/RxGYXsVb5zTNoW9B7Links to an external site.
    • If you do illegally park on school property, you could get booted and have to pay $50 to get it removed
  • If you do have a parking space...
    • you must park in your assigned spot.  If there is a car parked in your spot when you come to school, go to the Main Campus Parking Lot and park in the visitor space and come to the 11th Grade AP Office to let us know.
    • you are not allowed to go to your car or leave during the school day for any reason without a pass from your AP office.
      • This includes Enrichment and Lunch
  • Violating the parking rules could result in you losing your space temporarily or even for the remainder of the year.
  • We are increasing Parking Lot sweeps during the day, especially Lunches, and if you are at your vehicle without permission, you and your vehicle will be subject to a thorough search.

If you have any questions, please contact Sean Riley, 11th Grade AP, at seanoriley@katyisd.org
